If you know what you have to do, you just have to do it.
There's nothing else to say when it comes to procrastination- you break it by sucking it up and stopping it until you're no longer in the habit. There is no magic trick to it or anything of that swort. Don't even give yourself the chance to put things off- do your work before you even get the chance to procrastinate, cuz it only gets harder the longer you put it off.
You just have to remember that you have to break the habit. Until you have the habit broken, erase all thoughts of when the 'best' time to do something is and just do it.

I know exactly what you mean. My solution is to just do what you have to do. Don't even give yourself the chance to procrastinate (sometimes, it gets harder the longer you put it off). At first, it will be really hard to force yourself to do whatever your putting off. After awhile, though, you'll get in the habit of just doing things without considering whether you want to or not.

I was thinking of asking the same thing earlier! I am currently putting of doing a paper for school, thanks for the additional reason to procrastinate lol
Seriously though, I have no clue why people do this, we just do. I don't know how to correct it either and you always find yourself justifying what you are currently doing as opposed to what you should be doing. Good luck with not doing it anymore, email me if you figure out how to stop (that is, if you get around to it)

Do it immediately! Keep doing this. I don't care if you are in the worst mood. Do whatever you have to as soon as you can. Watching TV doesn't count as something to do that is more important than what you HAVE to do. Eventually, you'll get into a habit. Hopefully......lol
Hope this helps! : )

what I do is force myself to work 30 minutes a day on something like a project and do one work sheet every hour for my homework.
Then it just feels like you have actually accomplished something and you can get on and do what you want to do.
