Home is where the heart is. It is a well known adage. An English man's home is his castle. Another well known saying. Therefore, home is where you feel safe to return and feel safe to do what you want to do. It consists of a bed room a living area a kitchen and a bathroom. Probably you also need an ironing board together with an iron. A vacuum cleaner might come handy. Finally, a partner and a pet of some sort may be taken into account.

The home that I have created is safe and a place that I can be myself. My apartment is my home, and my boyfriend is also my home, and if either was not safe or a place that Id be me,then Id say goodbye.

Home is where my heart is... with my kids in a safe, warm enviroment. Where I feel free. When I take a deep breath and I can say, "this is home."

A house is not always a home.

To be Home means:
In my own home: A place to have peace and quiet in capital letters. Please do not bother me and please do not make even the insiest bit of sound. Futhermore do not come within My Space, which means not within 3 feet of me.
This is a place where I can be me all the time. A place where I am the queen and others are my servants.
lol
What does my Home in reality mean to me: a place where my hubby can always be bugging me in a whole lot of ways....none of the above.

In my Home church: I feel like praising God and dancing. It is like "coming home"...a place of peace. This is where my real home is: with God.

I read once "Home is where your heart is" My heart is in many places. What my house means to me is shelter from the storms, a place to call my own a thankful comfort zone,
familiar, cozy, warm with items of a life time that tells me who I am, Trueism, "There's no place like home." even if we live
alone.

Home is California, especially the beautiful home my hubby and I have made, and the community where I've lived all my adult life and home is my son and granddaughter who grew up and still live here as well.
But above all "Home" is in my sweet hubby's arms. I saw home in his eyes the first time our eyes locked. That hasn't changed in 43 years. Wherever he is, is my home.

Home is the place I can be myself and be accepted for who I am...I can be at home with some members of my family, and also with my real friends.
