Not a movie quote but a tv quote i've been using a lot recently to describe Thanksgiving:
"It's a ritual sacrifice....with pie!"
The whole quote from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, episode: Pangs.
ANYA: "To commemorate an occasion, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice...with pie."
