...which ones contributions are the least worthwhile?

Mine for certain. The music industry has corrupted me something horrible the last ten years to a point where my tastes have literally gone down the toilet. Yeah, those milestones in life, college graduation, getting a job, first child, Yahoo top contributor badge, are all very important.

Prof - LOL!! You got the right idea. I know the day I received my shiny orange symbol of validation, I was jumping on the bed ala Macaulay Culkin. Now there's nothing left to accomplish. :)

I just got this badge yesterday. You will all learn how worthless I am soon if you haven't already. But seriously, I think I give a great deal of decent opinions on here, likeable or not. I have fun recieving thumbs down for my love or hate towards certain genres but that's what makes it fun. Least worthwhile...I wouldn't say I am. And I'm not sure who is. The main top contributors on here, do in fact, contribute dearly.

As long as someone answers or asks seriously how can you say anyone's contribution is the least worthwhile?
Everyone has different opinions and I appreciate all of them, even the ones I don't agree with.
There's a lot of intelligent people on here, some have badges and some don't.
(Does anyone really know how you get those badges, is there some little guy sitting in front of a computer in a small room somewhere that decides)?

I feel that what everyone says could possibly be interpreted as worthwhile or useful by somebody.
With some exceptions of course, the classic "yeah...free points" answer being one of them!
Even a simple yes or no will suffice in some cases.

Beatle Fanatic - You achieved level 4 status long before I did. Why don't you have a tacky orange label? You've got nearly 2,000 more points than I do as well. Something's awry here!

Waiting for these cheesy labels is comparable to a prisoner awaiting that new pair of shoes. And once they finally arrive, they never seem to fit properly!

Get it away from me!!!!!! *wiggles a bit* It's not coming off!!!!!!

Aw, you deserve it Jake :0)

EDIT: Jake: The fact we're on the Top 10 is a waving flag that both of us are skipping too much homework for this site

EDIT:
conie and Beatle fanatic: The old way to get a TC badge is with 15% best answers and at least 30 answers in each section a week. I'm not sure if you changed it or not. But the loophole is if you know nothing about rock, you can answer 30 questions a week and maintain the 10% by having a vast amount of knowledge on Biology or something.

None of them, they all fit their niche in the R & P section quite excellently with their knowledge and experiences. And might I add, they all look fantastic as well.

Come on Top Contributers, let's keep those thumbs up coming. LOL.

Edit: Well hey, I just got a badge in a matter of minutes. I believe that makes my contributions the least worthwhile. Everything I said above still goes for the rest of the TC's.

I know that my answers generally, completely lack substance. It's just Pavement this and Malkmus that and did you hear that Elliott Smith tune and on and on and on. Luckily I can rest on the laurels of my earlier answers that were of a higher quality. At least I think they were. Those were heady times.

Bei de bei, did you hear the Elliott Smith tune where he was like not totally bummed but he was kind of bummed and stuff. There was some stuff and it was like totally good. You should check it out.

I agree lovenrckts, I feel that if my wife and I have a child and they get married or graduate at the head of their college class from some ivy league institution it will pale in comparison to the day that little orange box showed up. I was validated on that fine day. I will never forget the feeling.

You're so right. The let down of knowing there was nothing left to look forward to sent me into an incredibly deep depression. There was excessive drinking, thoughts of suicide, the food had no taste. I am left with that, but after a couple months of constant therapy I learned to be happy again. True story.
Nice Home Alone reference by the way!

Mine - I'm just here to chit-chat about music. Seriously.

There are some TC's here, though, that are extremely intelligent and really know their stuff. There are some that are not that I feel the same way about. I have learned a lot from quite a few people here, regardless of whether they have a badge or not.

Edit: huevo...you rock! :)

hmm i just dont see why it took so long for sarah c to get hers back.

also ... it depends what makes a tc .. quality or quantity? Likely the latter. But I must say most of the TC's know a ton.

sarah - oh no ... all i remember from bio is looking at onion cells through the scopes.

Enemies are the last thing I need
Besides I've been waiting for one of these things for six months.
I have never seen a person in here that's undeserving of their badge.
