AS salaamu 'alaikym,my friend.

Insha'Alah, I would wish to change the "me first attitude" that is slowly taking over the world through the influence of Western society and its morals (or lack of the same).

The USofA was built in no small part on "rugged individualism" where many would forgo community in their pioneering efforts to "colonize" the land.
Sadly, this led to the destruction of the native population, the eventual "raping" of the land and environment, and the waste of the natural resources cantained therein.
This attitude is still very prominent throughout the current society and it has infected all those other societies that have followed or adopted the Western ideal such as Japan, China, India, Australia, virtually all of Europe, parts of Africa and aprts of Central and South America, etc.

Insha'Allah, in the Usof A alone, enough food is grown to feed every living human being on the planet, yet people are starving to death.
If all of the food production of the Earth were combined, there would be a surplus where the whole population could be fead and food would be left over, yet people are starving.
In the year 2006, the federal government estimated that 35.5 million Americans suffered from hunger, yet this nation grows enough food to feed everyone on the planet.

Insha'Allah, all of humankind needs to awaken to the realization that we are all one family and that when we raise our selves up individually we must do so only when and as we can raise up all of our "family" with us.
To do otherwise is to dehumanize ourselves and to say to thse whom we willingly leave behind to suffer that they are less then human and not worth caring about.

Insha'Allah, in the history of the development of Islamand the rightly guided caliphes, those same person were known for giving away literally everything that they possessed.
In the development of Islam, the "ummaah", that is the community as a whole were taught to care for all members of the same and that individual wealth was for the sole purpose of helping others and not just for one's personal benefit.
It was tught, and rightfully so, that Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, will hold each to account for how one helped all others or how one refused to do the same.

Insha'Allah, I would have the world adhere to this model of social welfare for all.

Ma'a salaam.

there should be a thing. where everyone works a little, and everyone makes alot. and the society would just help each other. but that will never happen in this imperfect world.
