There is this kid at my college and these days I have seen him holding up a political sign about the war in the middle east (Israeli's). Just yesterday I saw him with a bruised face. Why is he still holding up the sign!!! He has enemies. I wanted to shake him up and tell him to wake up. Who's going to listen to him??? He should just come up with a website and express his thoughts. Should I talk to him and offer him my perspective. It really hurt me to see that a person can not see the danger they are putting themselves in. Should I forget about it and move on? It's o.k?

i don't know if you live in america or not, but here we have the freedom of speech. that means taht whoever beat him up comitted a crime and can be put in prison for what he did. i beleive things and i express my feelings openly. if someone hurt me for my beleifs, then i would prosicute them. they have no right to tell me what to think, do, and say. i have rights as a free american.

I would absolutely continue to speak my mind if it meant it would hurt me..of course there is a time and place to fight your battles...he isn't going to do anyone any good dead or severely injured..he should take up his cause on You-tube or as you say a website...it's alot safer..even though he still may receive death threats.

There's a word for people who hide their beliefs out of fear that it might make them unpopular.

It's "Coward".

he has something MORE to live for in his eyes, you won't be able to get to him by telling him that his views are unorthodox or ridiculous, it will just empower him further
