Does anybody know why the FCC regulates everything we listen to on the radio. In London for example, you can move your dial 1 notch and hear reggae, or rap or soul, garage, techno, latin, jazz, drum and bass, house, rock, punk, indie, whatever...The dj's play anything they want, and can mix beats like no tommorow, they earn respect for their talent on air. The only commercials you hear are to advertise what club to go to, the last thing you hear is pop music. Pop music is all you hear in the US . Where is the diversity ? Do you ever wonder why artists that rap about nothing are hitting the # 1 spots ? Is anybody tired of dry meaningless rubbish? Ever thought that maybe they just don't want us to hear music that will allow us to acctually think, or even change the style a little, because music influences fashion and the US is slacking in both thanks to bs regulations. Tell the FCC your gonna start your own radio station and spice it up a bit, see what they say !

That movie from back in the day....what was it called???

Oh yeah, Pump Up The Volume...taught us that in the great USA (where we are supposed to *so* value freedom of speech) one does not just start up a radio station without FCC approval and think you will get away with it :)

Did u heard italian music in a Spanish Radio? I never did and I'm from Spain Radios here only plays songs in Spanish or English, but there are so many radios with different kinds of music. We also have the top40-radio that always plays the same songs, but there are others that don't. PS: Danza Kuduro - Don Omar ft Lucenzo is not portuguese, it's spanish.

That's why they invented cd players, buy what you want, and play what you want.
