Oh Sorry. But what exactly do you mean?

When you say "turning Japanese", it is impossible to actually do, unless you actually are Japanese, but after watching so much anime and reading some manga, I wish I was Japanese.
I am now so interested in the language and culture, that I am currently learning the Japanese now. There are many familiar words and things now that I recognize while watching, that I did not recognize before.
We are all born the way we are, and we need to be as happy as can we can be.
But saying that you're "turning Japanese" is so true...if you look how much interest everyone is getting into anime and manga, and now the music and culture now.
So I'll have to agree with you that I am probably "turning Japanese", in a sense that I am trying to learn more about and totally interested in the country and culture.

No.
I know it, since I can't read what terminator wrote.
I have been watching Japanese anime a lot, and I have learnt a bit, and eventually used them up in conversations. I also had picked up some good Japanese manners, like the bows, and how do they drink hot tea. And yet, I still can't read Japanese fully, understand and celebrate the Japanese festivals, and whatsoever.
So no. I'm still not turning into a Japanese. =^_^=

I don't think I'm turning Japanese, but after watching ALOT of anime, you start picking up on some Japanese words. But they're addicting and I don't think I'll ever stop watching them. They give you something to talk about with your friends! >.<

I find myself saying Japanese words or phrases without really thinking about it. Like...I'll call me or my friends baka. I'm also starting to like Japanese culture a lot more, but I don't think I'm turning Japanese.

hell no, and it disgusts me that so many people either think they are culturale experts in japanese because they watch anime or wish they were japanese, IE give up their culture, just because of anime.

I do too!
My one friend thinks I'm going crazy while my others decided to go crazy with me!
One good thing that's come out of it is that when people get on my nerves I just go, "Lusai baka-san!" and then they go, "What the heck does that mean?"
