Zephaniah 1: 2-3,7
“I shall without fail finish everything off the surface of the ground,” is the utterance of Jehovah.

3 “I shall finish off earthling man and beast. I shall finish off the flying creature of the heavens and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked ones; and I will cut off mankind from the surface of the ground,” is the utterance of Jehovah.

7 Keep silence before the Sovereign Lord Jehovah; for the day of Jehovah is near, for Jehovah has prepared a sacrifice; he has sanctified his invited ones.

So, obviously, this is speaking of THE DAY OF JEHOVAH. what is the day of jehovah? would it be,,,um.. armageddon perhaps? so, i can understand that you guys would repopulate the earth and restore it with more humans, but what about the pretty pictures you painted with all the tame animals? i dont think they will be there. if God says "everything" he does mean everything right? what do you think

The context points to "everyone" who has rejected Jehovah.
I noticed you left those verses out.

Zeph. 1:4 “And I will stretch out my hand against Judah and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and I will cut off from this place the remaining ones of the Ba´al, the name of the foreign-god priests along with the priests, 5 and those who are bowing down upon the roofs to the army of the heavens, and those who are bowing down, making sworn oaths to Jehovah and making sworn oaths by Mal´cam; 6 and those who are drawing back from following Jehovah and who have not sought Jehovah and have not inquired of him.”

You also ignored the last part of vs 7: he has sanctified his invited ones.

12 “And it must occur at that time that I shall carefully search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will give attention to the men who are congealing upon their dregs [and] who are saying in their heart, ‘Jehovah will not do good, and he will not do bad.’

The judgement in the "Day of Jehovah" will be total and complete, it will be as if the animals (ungodly men) and the earth (godless men) are judged.

It would be unrighteous on God's part to destoy the righteous and the unrighteous at the same time.

Matt. 24:20 Keep praying that YOUR flight may not occur in wintertime, nor on the sabbath day; 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

Shows that the destruction is cut short so that the righteous will not be destroyed along with the wicked.

It is the 'world of ungodly men' that is destroyed.

2 Pet 2:4 Certainly if God did not hold back from punishing the angels that sinned, but, by throwing them into Tar´ta·rus, delivered them to pits of dense darkness to be reserved for judgment; 5 and he did not hold back from punishing an ancient world, but kept Noah, a preacher of righteousness, safe with seven others when he brought a deluge upon a world of ungodly people; 9 Jehovah knows how to deliver people of godly devotion out of trial, but to reserve unrighteous people for the day of judgment to be cut off, 12 But these [men], like unreasoning animals born naturally to be caught and destroyed, will, in the things of which they are ignorant and speak abusively, even suffer destruction in their own [course of] destruction, 13 wronging themselves as a reward for wrongdoing. . . . 14 They have eyes full of adultery and unable to desist from sin, and they entice unsteady souls. They have a heart trained in covetousness. They are accursed children. 15 Abandoning the straight path, they have been misled. They have followed the path of Ba´laam, [the son] of Be´or, who loved the reward of wrongdoing, 16 but got a reproof for his own violation of what was right. A voiceless beast of burden, making utterance with the voice of a man, hindered the prophet’s mad course.

This is why all scripture is inspired of God and benifical for setting things straight.

After the great and terrible day of the Lord---Armeggedon, the White throne judgement will be held, God will create "a new heaven" and "a new earth" to be inhabited by those who have obtained salvation in Jesus Christ.
