is it plausible for me to write a how to book on living in a van and make any money?

im not living in a van because i have to, it's because i am cheap and i don't want to graduate with any debt

You'd have to send it to a publisher who thought they could make money from it. The other option would be to publish it yourself, but since you are living in your van I doubt that you have the money to do that. Even if you found a publisher, it could be pretty tough to make any money from it - the people who live in vans probably can't usually afford to buy a lot of books.
But hey, good luck, and I hope that when you finish school you find a good job that will provide for your needs....

I'm just guessing, but I don't think people who are so broke they are needing to live in a van are going to be spending money on books about how to live in a van.

Nope because there are alot of people doing just that.
You need to get an apartment or even a motel room.
This is not safe becareful and best of luck to you.
Dont give up get a get an apartment.
