Frank Anthony Iero (born 31 October 1981) is the youngest member of the band My Chemical Romance. He was born in Belleville, New Jersey and attended Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington. Iero's parents divorced when he was young. He then attended Rutgers University on scholarship but then dropped out for the band after he felt they were beginning to get somewhere. Iero is a rhythm guitarist and is one of the two backup vocalist for the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance.
In addition to his band Pencey Prep, Iero also played with the bands Hybrid, Sector 12, I Am a Graveyard, and briefly with Give Up the Ghost.[1]

Facts
- Frank has more tattoos than any of his bandmates, including his first (a large jack-o-lantern on his back), his fiancee Jamia's name on his chest, the word "halloween" across his knuckles, birds and the words "search and destroy" wrapped around his stomach, a scorpion on his neck, and various others.
- He has/had his lip and nostril pierced and his ears gauged (he recently let them close up).
- He is often the butt of many short jokes from his bandmates because he's only 5'4".
- He learned to play the guitar by imitating Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day as a teen.
- He is known for his energetic live performances and claims to get hurt every show.
Side projects
Frank Iero has his own clothing line, record label, and publishing company called Skeleton Crew[citation needed]. It is not a T-shirt company, as stated by himself.[1] Frank is in the band Leathermouth, which is produced by Skeleton Crew.[citation needed]
