You look fine. Keep it trimmed and shaped and after a year or so, you'll feel naked if you shave it off. It's part of who you are, and most people will readily accept the goatees than they will obvious piercings, tattoos, mohawks, or fauxhawks. This is important if you're looking for a job beyond the local coffee shop.
No offense intended, but having just seen your 360 page, keep the goatee, you look naked without it.

Hard to tell from the picture, but I don't think just hair on the chin looks good-- it needs to go around into a moustache/ goatee thing.
