A girl KNOWS I like her.
We're actually pretty close and have become very close friends- we're pretty comfortable and tell each other secrets. Talk for an hour on the phone everyday, and last time I saw her she was getting very touchy, basically ignoring my personal space bubble.
ANYWAYS the problem is this. This girl KNOWS I like her. Yet she tells me when other guys hit on her.
Today apparantly some other guy tried to ask her out, and she rejected him. She's told me about quite a few guys that have been chasing her and that she turned down.
What, is this supposed to bring my confidence up or something?? Cuz it aint helping...
Why does she tell me when other guys flirt with her??? I DONT WANNA KNOW!!!! It always leaves me feeling rather uncomfortable inside...
WHY does she do this when she KNOWS I like her??

its either one of two things or both
a) shes trying to make you jealous in order for you to like her more or maybe she just gets a thrill out of someone being possessive over her or enjoys you getting jealous.
or
b) shes telling you how soooo many other guys like her but shes turning them down because she likes you instead but of course she doesn't mention this part coz that would be corny.
i would keep talking to her and see where it goes. next time she brings up guys askin her out and how she rejects them..say something liek 'gee you sure are picky..its gonna take me a while to get the gets to ask you out' and see what she says....luk she likes you i know because im a girl and i do the same but i dnt fully rub it in their face and give deatials liek ur girl is doin. the worst that can happen is that you dont end up 2gda..which means u wont really b losing anything. goodluck!

She wants you to get jealous. I'm engaged and an adult and every now and again I want to see my guy get a little jealous over some other guy looking at me and such. Ask her out already if you like her. Step up and make the move. Good Luck.

Simply because she wants you to be jealous. Take it as her wanting you to take a step towards becoming "more then friends". This may not be the case, but it's a pretty good bet that she's just telling you that other guys are interested in her to get you motivated.

she wants to make you jealous of other guys. sometimes we like when a guy is jealous and protective, just not overly jealous. I think she wants you to ask her out. but don't blame me if I'm wrong! sorry for that ahh with the confidence thing. I really don't know her but just dont hope shes only a flirt like me. [I tend to flirt with people and give them the wrong impression...you get the idea]

She's giving you major signals! She's telling you of how many guys would LOVE to be with her and how SHE's turning them down. She's doing this to make you jealous and to make you want her more. I think you should take a chance and go for her.
If she KNOWS you like her, then she'd be telling you this to make you jealous and ask her out. So, ask her out! You should go for it! =)

Sadly it's most likely just to get a rise out of you. She wants to see how you'll react and she may be trying to make you feel jealous. Your best bet is to act like it doesn't phase you. Girls are mean and think they can get away with things when they know a guy likes them. Ignore the situation(not her completely) and she'll get bored with telling you every little detail about the guys she comes in contact with.

She likes you back! She is trying to make you jealous, jealous enough to make a move and ask her out! She told you about how she rejected guys to show that she doesn't want anyone else, because if she dates someone else, she's not available anymore. Not available to you! She tells you about other guys flirts to make you jealous! My advice, is to ASK HER OUT!!!!!!!!!!! She is proving she likes you back, and is waiting for YOU to make a move!

Shes doing that because she wants you to ask her out she is telling you pretty much that she has been turning them down for you!! Just ask her out shes waiting!

Adk her out, and see what happens. if she laughs at you laugh with her. i did this to one of my friends once, that i really liked, and i new that he liked me, but because i was a "popular girl" and he was a "loner" he thought that i would reject him, so he never tried asking me out, just let it slip once when he was drunk. i kept telling him about these guys that i kept having to reject becasue i had major feelings for soemoneelse, and he never made a move, untill one day i just kisses him on the mouth, and we where making out for like 10 minutes when he finally realised that i liked him.
ask her out already!!!
