Which one is it? The Tom Tom One lets you download celebrity voices in it which is pretty awesome. Any GPS that has Mr T telling me how to get to a gas station gets an A in my book.

I have owned one for about a year. It gets used a lot. Sometimes Tom Tom will give me the shortest route, but not the quickest way. Also the battery life is very short, about two hours. So keep Tom Tom plugged in to you cigarette lighter. I still love it.

Tom Tom originated in Europe so it has better map coverage in Europe as compared to the US.

What model do you have? In any case, I've seen them be extremely popular in Europe and quite decent, time for those annoying Garmin commercials to have some competition in the US.

my experience with the "tom-tome one" has been great.
it is efficient and has good directions, and customer support is superb
