There've been a few. More than a few.

I think the first was the nurse in the maternity ward.

I remember, too, sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap when I was 10, and her telling me how handsome I was. That I was going to grow up to be quite a gorgeous man. Right then, she became more dear to me than Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy combined (although, the story about when I woke up to find the Tooth Fairy spooning me is an interesting one too).

For another time.

I saw my husband around town and I thought he was the most adorable person ever. I finally worked enough courage up to pull him over. Well I must have not been paying attention and I accidentally drifted into his lane and that caused him to run off the road. So you can say I met my husband by running him off the road

Our story is a crazy mixed up one. But I'll try to shorten it.

He just started dating a relative of mine. She brought him to our house so we could meet him. I was only 15. I didn't like him much right away. Nothing wrong with him, I was more upset that she was able to find someone like him and I wasn't. They later moved to the same town, just down the street from my parents house. When ever she was gone out of town he always came over to visit with us, to eat dinner, or to just spend some time with us since he didn't know anyone from there yet. We spent lots of time outside together just talking and visiting. They were together for almost two years. Then after they had split for a few months, and I was then 18, he started calling me alot and asking to go out and do things together. He always made excuses to spend time around me. Only a month before my 19th birthday he made a move on me that I just couldn't resist. He started out rubbing my back and shoulders because they were really sore from work that day. Then we left together to go to a convience store before it closed, and he reached over and held my hand the whole way there and back (tricky move since he drove a stick shift). Then right before we got out of the car he just leaned over and kissed me. Gave me no choice about it. I think that he knew that it would only take one kiss to get me to give in. We spent all night standing outside talking again (and kissing) before he finally had to leave to make it to work on time (he had a 3 hour drive to get home). We talked on the phone everynight that week. The next weekend he drove up to see me again. And it was official that I could not say no to him anymore. Two months later we were engaged and living together, and 7 1/2 months we were married. Been married for 3 1/2 years now and just as happy as the day I said I DO.

My foreman suggested he ask me out, because I was recently divorced and drove a pickup, lol !

He took me to Black Angus for dinner, and we talked, discovering so much in common.

We didn't kiss till the third date, dated for 2 1/2 years, were engaged for 9 months, and have been married for 23 years.

I knew of my husband in high school but we didn't officially meet until 7 or 8 years after high school when we started working together.

Yes, I started liking him right away.

My husband met me in college. I thought he was a smooth talker at first, but I got to know him, and I saw that he was genuine. I'm glad I gave him the chance, he is a sweet man, and very generous. He gives more to me than he could ever realize, and I just love him.

Technically I met him as my best friend's date to prom. Through her we started talking a bit and swapped AIM names but what really got us going was one night we were doing the whole small talk thing and I meant to send the message "stupid boobs!" to my sister (she was online too) but his box was actually up. SO he accidentally got that message and it opened things up for us and we stayed up almost all night talking. After that i knew he was special.
