It means that it is just a chance to play another mission and it is an epilogue mission.

It is completely unrelated to the storyline and therefore not a spoiler! The final mission is to give you a challenge and very difficult on the veteran difficulty. It helps you gain some practice for multiplayer as well because it helps you gain knowledge of where to aim throw flashes and everything. But with 1 minute you need to rush a bit.
