A real tree !!!!!
Nothing beats the smell and the others are just too 'perfect' - they've got no soul.

Fake Tree

A real tree!!!!
Real Christmas trees have positive effects on the environment:
They produce oxygen and rid the air of carbon dioxide, thereby reducing the earth-warming greenhouse effect.
They improve soil stability.
They provide an aesthetically pleasing improvement to the land and bring value to portions of land which could not be used to grow other crops.
They are naturally biodegradable and many towns collect trees after Christmas and convert them to mulch. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree produces 3 tons of mulch annually.
They serve as wildlife habitat.
They are a renewable resource.
Fake Christmas Trees harm the environment:
They are manufactured from PVC, plastic and metal - i.e. environmentally damaging and non-renewable resources.
Upon their disposal, artificial Christmas trees pollute our landfill sites for centuries to come as they are not biodegradable (i.e. cannot be broken down naturally).
Considering that the average life span of an artificial tree is only six years, one can imagine the enormous damage to the environment done by artificial Christmas trees.

I just couldn't honor the birth of Jesus with a fake tree!!! Afterall, HE IS THE REAL and the REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!

I don't have to get a tree this year, since I bought a fake tree 10 years ago from a thrift store. I just use the same one over and over. I have over 20 years of ornaments handmade ornaments I have collected, so I don't need new ones of those either.

A yucky, disgusting fake tree just because my husband is a retired firefighter and has some personal hangup about how real trees are more flammable.

Uh i gots a fake one xD we've used it every year since i was about 10. We use a fake one so we don't have to keep buying a new one every year and clean up all the dead pine needles because the tree's trunk is cut and it has no source of water. xDDD so. that's it

Fake. My mom is allergic. Our tradition every year is to assemble a fake tree, instead of pick a real one. :P
