yea i'm a panthers fan and i'll admit we suck! but i'd either give it to the steelers or the packers... they seem to stand by there teams even when they're down and out, but still carry some class when they're doing well

I'd say the Steelers also. They've sold out every home game since the early 70's and they have more fans in the stands at away games than any other team. Did you hear the Jets players complaining last week that they had to go to a silent count on offense because the Steelers' fans were so loud? Many teams have great fans, but when have you heard something like that about other teams?

I agree with Woody, it would have to be the Packer fans. I recently read an article about Packer fans and the season ticket waiting list. New father Packers fans often put their newborn on the season ticket waiting list, if the kid is lucky they will get their chance for tickets around 40 years of age. Think about that for a second - that means these people have been on the waiting list for as long as there as been Superbowls.
Every team has fans who brave all kinds of weather. I live in New England, a Patriots ticket has been impossible to get for many years, even pre-Brady.
Granted Steelers fans wave a yellow towel, but the home team fans should NEVER EVER wave the white flag (Cleveland Indians and Rockies fans come to mind).

Green Bay's fans were posting notes on their marquees around the town calling for Bret to retire last year. Favre had to play phenominal this year or he'd have been ushered out of town by angry mobs with pitchforks and cheeseheads.
I'd give the best fans award to the Steelers. When they were in the Superbowl here in Detroit, they absolutely packed the city and the surrounding area for miles. People drove here from Pittsburgh just to be in town for the game - most of them didn't even have tickets. They're always there at every home game in rain, sleet, or snow with their towels. Hands down they are the best.

id say packer fans for sure since they are the only publically owned team in the nfl, the next would be the steelers, raiders and colts, hell there are alot of passionate fans out there for almost every team

Packers by far, Steelers a close second. As for the cowgirls, their fans are a bunch of bandwagoners that love them only when they are winning and when they start losing, it is hard to find a fan in town.

I am originally from Erie,PA - less than 100 miles from Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Cleveland - but I am a Minnesota Vikings fan. I would have to say that the Browns fans are the most loyal and devoted fans. When they were on hiatous - groups of fans would bring in VCR tapes of old browns games to watch on TV.

I can't believe no one is talking about the Browns fans!!! Clevelanders live and die each sunday with our team. When we win the even food tastes better... There's such a strong deticated following... unlike any other city i've ever seen. There isn't many people that would be able to say that after decades of loosing seasons.
