On the contrary, I think that love means that you are understanding and knowing that your lover is human will make mistakes so if each partner is open to one another and caring and truley in love, than by saying sorry, that person can forgive you and what you have done. But never not having to say sorry. I believe that if you did something wrong to someone, especially a loved one, and it hurt them deeply, than an apology is very much needed to begin the healing process and move on with your lives. Hope this helps. Take care of your self. You still ROCK!

Love means having to say you're sorry when you know you were wrong, and compromising to make the other person happy too=) The other person should do the same for you, or it's not love.

no it's not true, i have been married to the same woman for fourteen years and can tell you here and now that it wouldn't have lasted 14 days if apologies were not exchanged occasionally. hmm, maybe that is what's wrong with all these celebrity marriages. something to think about

Not at all! You should say you're sorry to show the other person how you love and respect them. No relationship is perfect, so your going to have to say it eventually!

No, it is not true. Sometimes love means being able to hear I'm sorry over and over and over and still find the courage to forgive over and over and over, and still love.

Depends on situation really. If you've done something terrible to the one you love then it's your responsibility to say sorry. But if you mean loving a person that doesn't love you back then you don't have to say sorry.

am i making sense?

It can with sisters. We know each other so well that we even know when we're sorry. But not a romantic love. No way.

Well, if you mean saying your sorry with your actions rather than verbally then I guess it is true. Other than that, no.
