So, my 24th bday is on friday. My fiance is bringing me into boston for my birthday. Anyone tell me any great places to eat/do in the area?
Has any one ever been too PF CHENGS also?

I LOVE PF Changs! I would also recommend Newberry Street. Plenty to see and do there! If you are in a clubbing or dance mode, you can head to Landsdown Street close to Fenway Park. Otherwise, if you want a mellow evening with nice bars and shops and places to walk at night go to the Quincy Market/Faneiul Hall area. Happy Birthday!

There are a million great places to eat in Boston. Check out www.opentable.com for some ideas! . . . PF Changs is okay, I know some people that like it a lot. Don't get me wrong- it's a nice place, and I don't think you would be let down by the quality of food or anything. But it's american-ized chain restaurant Chinese food, so honestly I wouldn't pick it out of all the places, if you aren't too familar with the city.

I notice you also asked a similar question and I gave a few suggestions on things to do. As far as restaurants, you could also try the North End for some good Italian food.

I'm not so sure about PF Chang's. Check out Boston.com for ideas. There are hundreds of cool places. Quincy Market is a good suggestion. There are lots of places in the Back Bay,
and South End, as well. If you want upscale, go to Locke Ober's or the original Ritz Carlton (or the new Ritz).

Can't comment on PF Chengs - but I'd highly recommend Tangierino in Charlestown.

Young, hip crowd, hookah bar, belly dancers.

There is always the top of the hub, on the top of the Prudential. Need reservations for the top of the hub. Great view, expensive.

Also, you can't miss with the north end. Giacomo's would be my recommendation. Cash only, plan on waiting outside for a table.

PF Chiangs is good, but it's americanized Chinese food. You are only a few blocks from Chinatown, so get yourself over to Chau Chow City, East Ocean City, or China Pearl for some real Chinese food!

There are so many great bars and clubs in Boston you really need to define your taste for recommendations. My favorite search site for Beantown is
