IN RE: WENDY B. GOLENBOCK

S.J.C. Judgment of Disbarment entered by Justice Cowin on May 30, 2001.1
SUMMARY2

After a trial by jury, the respondent was convicted on April 12, 1999, in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts of one count of bankruptcy fraud/concealment in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 152 and one count of conspiracy to commit bankruptcy fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371. The respondent was sentenced to 21 months of imprisonment on each count, to be served concurrently. The United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit affirmed both convictions on November 28, 2000. United States v. Stein, 233 F. 3d 6 (1st Cir. 2000)

Bar Counsel commenced disciplinary proceedings on September 23, 1999. The proceedings were deferred pending the outcome of the respondent's appeal.

On March 26, 2001, the respondent submitted an affidavit of resignation in which she admitted to the convictions and that her conduct violated Mass. R. Prof. C. 8.4 (a), (b), (c), and (h). On April 9, 2001, the Board of Bar Overseers voted to recommend that the affidavit of resignation be accepted and that an order of disbarment be entered retroactive to the date of the respondent's temporary suspension on May 24, 1999.

On May 30, 2001, the Supreme Judicial Court for Suffolk County ordered that the respondent be disbarred retroactive to May 24, 1999.

You can do a search online... If she hasn't been disbarred, you can use that and the various bar associations to track her down. There are other resources, but it depends on how much you're willing to spend.
