Has anyone been on Provera (not the birth control) and not worked?

Question

I took provera( not depo-provera the birth control) 10mg for 7 days, to induce my menstrual cycle and today it's my 8th day after I took my last pill and still have not had my period. I called the doctor and he ordered a FSH and Prolactin test. I went to the lab today to get my blood work done. Has anyone gone through this before.

I haven't but ask your doctor about thyroid testing as well because sometimes a problem with the thyroid can affect the period starting.
