you can do it and it doesnt sound like you will be alone, if his family is one your side. You can get for child support. Hopefully he will come around and be a man and own up to his responsibility

I would file for child support. Unless you have lots of money and don't need to ever work. then yes. You would be a single mom and childcare, and baby necessities get expensive. If he doesn't want to be part of the his childs life that's fine but he should be held responsible to help pay for the childs needs.
I know pregnancy is hard and scary. You will be fine and it will work out. I know you'll find the right person to help you through things. Whether it's your mom, a friend, or some other wonderful man who comes into your life.
Good luck and congratulations. Your 1/3 of the way and you should start feeling pretty good for the next couple months.

I am in a very similar situation. I am 10 weeks pregnant. The father that I was dating for awhile left when I told him that I was pregnant. He has two children that live at home with him 17 and 16. He has another son that is 10 by another woman. . . after I told him that I was pregnant he says now he has a 4th child.
He kept going on and on about me getting an abortion...he kept going on and on about not having anymore kids etc.
I wasn't going to go after him for child support since he didn't want the kid, and felt like I should just move on....
but i am only hurting myself (and more importantly the baby) by not seeking childsupport.
it takes two to make a baby. . . it takes two to financially support it to - especially if you will be doing all the work.
i understand exactly what you are going through...

First off, this guy is a pig! He knew what he was getting himself into if there was unprotected sex! He needs to learn to take on responsibility! My head says get all you can outta this guy, dont let em get off that easily by just kicking you to the curb! But my heart says leave em out of it...only because he shouldnt be involved in the childs life if he doesnt even want the child to be alive...right? He definitly doesnt deserve it! It's tough...a pretty hard decision. I guess it depends on if you wanna deal with the mess of courts and everything! I realize that it is scarey too to be a single parent, but you have to think about if it will be worth it...will you actually really be able to get anything from him? Good luck, i'm sorry for what he has done!

You should file for child support.
Don't worry you can get through this with out him. I am 29 weeks and I left the father at around 9 weeks because it was an unhealthy environment for me while pregnant. I am so much happier with out him. He does want to be involved and I have to deal with him, but my daughter deserves a father. If he decides not to be involved that is his choice and loss. Make sure your child always knows that.
good luck!

Move on and demand child support..This is a classic deadbeat. As soon as the baby is born file for child support.Chances are unless he changes dramatically then he wont help you other than what he is forced to do.
I know what you are going through.Had twins on my own and state never really tried hard enough to get child support from him.
Its not easy but you can do it
Good luck

I have to ask . Did you know he was a dog before you hooked up?
Please, this does not relieve him of his financial responsibility any way . But why hook up with a dog?!!
Besides from what you say!, he has two other children from two other girls , and now you. He would have to make a considerable amount of money, in order to pay all that child support.
You can file for child support of course and you should.

I would def file for child support. I'd take him for all he's worth!! Does he pay the mothers of his other kids? I understand why your scared. But you have your family and friends around you to help you out and you can always talk to them about stuff. Jus try not to stress yourself out to much. Everything will turn out jus fine. Good luck!!

Yes, definitely file child support.... He is just lying to you, even if you do anything, he will only come back for a time being only, then he will just leave you again.... Never listen to what he has to say.... He is playing mind games with you!

Yes, you should get child support from him! And be glad he left you so you're not stuck with a loser for the rest of your life.
