Help with my Families Study Research!?

Question

This is my research question:
To what extent do careers play a role in prompting women to make the choice to remain childless?

Is the topic too general to do my research paper on?

I need to form a hypothesis. Any ideas?

Can you write out your hypothesis to my research question?
I need some ideas.

I'm hoping the research to be do-able. If I limit the type of careers, I might have trouble finding enough data.

What hypothesis can I make at this stage? Any suggestions?

It seems like a good start. I think I would narrow it down to certain kinds of careers. Some seem a lot more likely to produce data than others. Like maybe acting and theater or medicine. Do some research to see what kind of studies have been done in different areas and then choose.
