Teens should have 'RIGHTS' to the following:
To be allowed to do chores
To have to do their own homework
To be punished when necessary
To have curfew's imposed and enforced
To choose their own friends until such friends prove themselves to be troublemakers
To be allowed to respectfully speak their mind
To have their own opinions and be able to voice them politely.
To be listened to and not just heard
To keep their bedrooms clean
To learn to ask and not demand
To learn the difference between a need and a want
To earn their spending money by working
To grow up into proper adults
To refrain from having sex until married..

As teenager's you have all kinds of rights, it is just that you do not recognize most of the rights you have as you do not want to take responsibility for your self or your own actions.

The right to support themselves with NO help from their parents or the state?

Seriously...once you turn 18 you have the right to walk-out the front door and never see your folks again. If you want to do it earlier, you'll need cash and a lawyer to convince a judge that emancipation is the best thing for you.

Before that, you have the right to live in a (reasonably) safe home with parents who care for you, or at least a Guardian whom is willing to teach you how to become an adult and an independant thinking person.

No offence, but most teens are not mature enough to exercise the "few" rights they have...and I'm including first and second year Uni students too! I should know...I used to be one too! :D

How about the rule that you act grown up and then we'll talk about giving you some rights.

The truth hurts, doesn't it.

OK, man. I believe teens have probably more rights than they should. The dufus that said they should have the right to drink proved my point, to me anyway. Rights have to come with the responsibility to use them appropriately. I can't think of any more rights kids should have than they do now. Sorry.

Teens have an excess of rights as it is. Parental rights are the ones that need beefing up.
