My CDS won't play on my laptop or itunes!!!! PLEASE HELP?

When i first got my laptop it would play my CDS on my itunes and work perfectly fine, but now for some reason my itunes doesn't play my CDS and nether does my defalt windows CD player. IT PISSES ME OFF!!! I buy a new CD and it won't play on my itunes SO I CAN'T PUT IT ON MY IPOD!!!!! please can someone help me out? i haven't been able to put new songs froms cds i bought in my ipod for months!!!!

Are you sure your CD drive is working? Can you use it with anything other than new CDs (old CDs, CD-ROMs, anything)?
