Yeah. I mean, it bothers me when people are all, "Oh, no you're a couple years younger than me, so no matter how into you I am, I can't date you." People might talk, but brace yourself for it, and go for it. 14 and 16 is not a big dif. Don't let a # influence your feelings. If the two of u can have a mature relationship, then no worries, right!!!? :-D

Well Shorty, you're getting close to the line here. It's OK right now but when you're 18, she'll be 16. That's a ticket straight to jail if anybody gets pissed off at you in any way about it.

its not illegal..
but my opinion is that 14 year olds and 16 year olds do different things [most of them atleast] and someone who is 14 may not be ready for someone who is sixteen or they may think they are...im 14 and my boyfriend is 16...but he acts like he is my age lol so its different i guess.

If you want to be a socially accepted high schooler you should not go out with her. Wait until she is a freshmen and you are a senior and then it will be more acceptable.

perfect idea!! do it without any doubt! as soon as you feel yourself happy when you with her together, there is no problem about the age difference. An example: average age differences between the couples is: 3,8 ! and if the man older than woman its ideal..

Yeah! I have a lot of fourteen-year-old friends who would DIE to have a sixteen-year-old date! There's only a two year difference and it's not like ten or something :) If you like her, go for it man!
