#1 -- each number is half of the number before it
#2 -- each number is 5 times the number before it
#3 -- each number is 1/3 the number before it
#4 -- 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 ... hmm...
#5 -- each number is n times the prior number (1 times 1 = 1, 2 times 1 = 2, 3 times 2 = 6, 4 times 6 = 24, etc.)

If you have ten teams, they have to each play 9 other teams. That would be 90 rounds. Except that counts a match between teams A and B twice. So simply divide by 2 to get rid of the double-counting. There will be 45 matches.
