Does any one know what are some of the functions of immigrants being the U.S.? Whether they are latino/a, asian, or black?
Any ideas?

Just about everyone in the U.S. is descended from immigrants ! With birthrates dropping in Western countries, immigrants are needed to keep economic growth, the pathetic comment about cheap labor picking fruit denigrates the many doctors /engineers/ etc. who bring much needed skills into the country. It is often cheaper and quicker to 'import' professionals and tradespeople rather than train them.

If it wasn't for the latino people, we wouldn't have any food on our table. They pick veggies and fruits for very little money.
