Check out Meg & Dia! What I love about this band is that most of their songs are based on books. For example, East Of Eden inspired their song "Monster," and Mary by Vladimir Nabokov inspired "Tell Mary." Check out their songs "Courage, Robert," "Indiana," and "Roses."

The Like is great too. They've put out several EPs plus one album, and they're recording a new album right now, which should be released some time next year. My favorite songs are "June Gloom" and "Mrs. Actually," but the whole album is pretty solid. I saw them open for Muse a while ago, and they were amazing live, so if you ever get the chance to see them, do it.

You might also like Daphne Loves Derby. They just released a new album earlier this year, called Good Night, Witness Light, which I think is definite their best so far. Listen to "Cue The Sun," "Patterns And How They Change The Visible World," "Hopeless Love," and "Pollen And Salt."

Also check out...
Silversun Pickups, Hidden In Plain View, Dear And The Headlights, Minus The Bear, Wolf Parade, Copeland, The Spill Canvas, Straylight Run, Self Against City, Anberlin, Mae, Halifax, and Rilo Kiley. =]
