i have pain in both of my ankles and knees after basketball practice. i have went to the doctors and they said it was all normal and acted as if i had faked it. i run alot and when i get home i can barly walk. it is not my ankle it is sort of the soft skin above my heel and just below the bone that sticks out. it is in the back of my leg. i have broken my leg before when i was 2 and now i am 13 but i have the pain in both of my ankles. i have had the pain for 3 years and it is very tough to live with. my knees also hurt. one day i was playing outside in the snow and me and my friends heard a loud pop. they were all wondering what would have made such a bazar noise and when i tried to get up to look around my knee hurt so bad that it was like locked straight. i have gotten x-rays on both of my ankles and knees but they didn't seem to find anything? is it possible i could have a minor stress fracture in both of my ankles? what do you think it could be? and what about the pain in my knees

Yes, it is possible that one of your problems could be a stress fracture but because of the pain that you are in I would recommend getting another opinion. Please let your mom know that you are really concerned about this pain and would like to get another opinion to see what could be going on.

If this pain gets so bad even at other times then please go to the ER so that they can try to help you figure out what could be going on.
