FINAL POLL: Which next generaton gaming system is better?

Question

Explain why you think the system is better than the others and why someone should buy it in terms of games, graphics, and controller, etc. Than plainly state which system is the best. This is a poll, BUT the winner is the one who can convince me the most on which system is the best. You may use facts and personal opinions.

I have all three next-gen systems and it really depends on what you like. There is really no clear winner in my mind, and it really depends on taste. If you're looking for something cheap ($250) and fun, and don't really care about graphics, HD, or movies, go Wii. If you want a huge online playground as well as great graphics, game selection, and a middle-of-the-pack price ($350/$450)), 360's for you. If you want a huge all-around entertainment based system with pretty much everything you need built in (bluray, wi-fi, no adapter needed, free online, web browser, etc.) all for a higher price ($400/$500), get a PS3. I know you wanted me to choose one which is the best, but that's impossible to do considering it's all based on taste and opinion.

The Playstation 3 is the better console because it has more features built in such as WiFi, Bluetooth, a Web browser, Bluray, digital camera flash card slots, and backward compatibility with PS1 and PS2 games. (The 20GB, 60GB, and 80GB PS3's are the only PS3's that have backward compatibility with PS1 and PS2 games, the 40GB can't play PS2 games.)

The PS3 has good games out now and has even more and better exclusives than any other game console coming in the future. Just to list a few exclusive games for 2008:

All of the games that are listed are anticipated PS3 games. I don't even know about any big Xbox 360 exclusive titles for 2008, the only big exclusive game for 2008 for the 360 that I have read about is Gears of War 2, but Gears of War 2 may not make it until early 2009.

With the Xbox 360, you have to go out and buy so many separate attachments just to make it have the features that the PS3 already has, and really buy the time you buy all of those attachments (HD-DVD player, and WiFi adapter), you would have spent more money on the Xbox 360.

The PS3 is the best in terms of technology, it has free online play, and it is very reliable. The Xbox 360 still has the Red Ring of Death and other hardware flaws. The PS3 was built to last and the PS3 will be the dominate force of 2008.

The PS3 seems pretty good but the fact that you gotta pay 100$ to have a backwards compatible system so im told.A lot of good games ive seen on the Xbox 360 look very nice and the Halo series has always been good but the red ring of death has been a huge problem since day one and the Wii is just one of those "Get Up and Go" kinda systems adding a small amount of exercise to fun im not sure which to choose between the Wii and the Xbox 360 but they both look promising if the Wii is backwards compatible tell me that and Wii has my vote might still have to buy a 360 anyway though lol

It all depends on if you are a plain gamer, or a gamer wanting extra media.

I for myself prefer the ps3 because of the following:
. Built in blue-ray player. (Blue ray player alone cost about 600 bucks. )
. Photos, music, game demos, ps1 classics, free internet, home, account managment, friends.
. Ps3 has few games now, but hundreds are in the production right now.

CONS:
. No vibration on controller
. Game developers not making games de to cell processer (thats all changing next year)

XBOX 360:
PROS:
. Plays games, music, photo, internet, easy user interface.
. Faceplates
. Huge selection of games
. Lots of acessories
. Can play music while listening to games
. Easy to use buddy system

CONS:
. Overheats sometimes
. Bugs and other issues
. Some xbox games not backward compatible
. Bulky acessories
. Pay for internet.
. 33 percent failure rate.

The 360 and the ps3 are both hardcore, though 360 has lower rated games at times. Both have good graphics. At the moment, xbox 360 games have better graphics, but developers are realizing how to create better graphics on the ps3. People with samll hands most likely should buy the ps3 because the 360 controller is larger in size.

I think that no system is better than the other when it comes to customers because it all depends on what the customer is interested in. For me, its the ps3.

The wii is fun, has backwards compatibility, gives you an amazing, immersive gameing experiance with the wiimote, has tons or great games( Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Brawl coming out, Super Paper Mario, Fire Emblem Radient dawn and much much more) , comes with wii sports, can be played by ANYONE, is dirt cheap, and has the virtual console with all of Nintendo's old hits. How could anyone want more?
The x-box 360 is a close 2nd....

It's like asking which is better out of a Mac or pc. They systems in this generation is segmented to fairly different markets this time around so if one says a system is better than the other, it's likely they're in that target group. I'm guessing because of that the best system for the majority is the Wii. It's cheap and fun :P (seriously that's what they say)

WII, yes you may think the other games are good, but honestly some people go for halo 3 and ps3 graphics. Sure thats all wireless. But Wii brings wireless and a load of interactivity. Wii is a whole new step up into gaming. ps3, xbox 360. Sure its all cool but here is the thought: 'Been there, done that.' wii is totally new and can make a hell of an appeal to any age. Interactivity finally takes a step up to gaming. Also it has accessories that make it even more realistic. like wii zapper and the wii sports gear. Wii is totally new and has a main menu with lots of options to choose from. Get that from a 360 and PS3. Sure they have lots of features. but, 'Wii is stepping up with its own trademarks.' When purchasing your wii find a specially marked box (maybe they're all marked) and you get your own copy of wii sports. Your first step into the world of wii. Also you can create Miis. Very fun to make them look like yourself, start parades, also they are used to save data on some games.

Terms of graphics. Some games have good graphics, some don't, but for me its not all graphics. Some are very satisfactory and sometimes when you play games you might not really think about it. But take Spiderman 3 for example. the copies on 360 and ps3, is its own thing. PS2 and Wii are their own thing, So is DS. 360 and PS3 i must admit have better graphics. But one thing you won't get out of the others is the interactivity. Just like the 360 has XBOX live.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some wii games have wi-fi, for example, pokemon battle revolution. People love it, you can play/battle/trade with people around the world that are connected. Yes, Wi-Fi is yet another step into the world of wii. Some wii games can connect to certain DS games (thats if you get both). Sometimes the ds can act as a controller.---------------------------------- for now this is all i have to convince you. But the main thing is, WII IS A WHOLE NEW GENERATION OF GAMING.

I would say PS3 mainly because i've been a fan of the PS since the first one came out. To me you can't get a better system out there that always has some raw power that the other systems have EVER!

Nintendo sixty 4! ha ha yet I nevertheless have and use mine! i admire Banjo-Kazzoie and Donkey Kong. while in comparison with the sixty 4 and the different older platforms video games and video games gadget went down hill!

welll... were all getting older and consoles have yet to make a drastic change really.... EXCEPT for the WII.... it is the best console all-a-round that anyone can enjoy..[honestly people...its not all about graphics....ITS GAMEPLAY]
