1920 to 1923 the studios were starting all over the country New York, Chicago and Los Angeles and movie house were taken over vaudeville house left and right..it was a cheap medium say (5 cents a movie..silents, talkies were about 25 cents...)

Birth of a Nation was the FIRST motion picture and I think it came out in 1910...
