it's only by divinity that you would find my thumbprints that links me to the theft of the sugar cookies

Sugar cookies for the simple reason that I've never had a "thumb print", nor know what that is, and divinity is just to sweet for me.

No one should have to choose...and I like my divinity with black walnuts in it.. pecans for the thumb prints..and I want the sugar cookies decorated,,,preferably by a child..

I make all three for christmas, plus a few others. My all time favorite are called "mexican wedding cookies" made with only butter, nuts, flour and powdered sugar. They are really light, and melt in the mouth. Yummmmmm

I love to make divinity for the holidays. I've had a few failures in the past, but none lately. It's taken me time to get my Mom's recipe down! I believe I've got it!
