Went to run a bath for the kids and now the water won't shut off....what do I do? HELP please.......thanks

I have a well..if that helps and there is no valve by the tub to turn off....

cut off the main supply off coming from the well....cut the power off of your water heater so you won't burn up the heater elements(assuming the water heater is electric) until you figure out why you have the problem.

After you shut the water off you have to change the stem or possibly the washer in the tap . problem solved unless you don't turn the water back on then you will be asking why you can't get water. ha ha.

If it's hot water, shut it off at the water heater. Cold water, shut it off at the main cut off inside your house, until you can get more information on how to repair the faucet,
