you just have to gradu8 IT related course.
BSIT, BSCS, Com.Eng,
well not all programmers are IT gradu8!
coz there are companys that trains employees to be a programmer!!
like accenture!!
well you can take a licensure exam like Microsoft licensure exam, Filnits Licensure exam, if you pass any cetification, then you should have a higher pay,

No particular tests, although some jobs require particular certifications that might require passing a test.

It's pretty much a requirement most places to have a 4 year degree in some IT related discipline.
