MAME UI32 help?

I`m useing MAME UI32 I was just about to play and it said unable to create direct 3-D device I`m trying to play house of the dead.

do you have directX 9?

Check to see if your able to play 3d programs your computer may not be equipped for it. You may need a 3d graphics card if you don't have one
