Yes, of course he is in the wrong. There is no "is he really wrong?" about it. Nevermind if he participated in the dog fighting or not; if he knew dog fighting was taking place on his property, he is guilty of cruelty to animals. It is very shameful and sickening what went on there.

This has been discussed a lot but I will give my point of view. He was wrong for doing what he did. However, I don't think it's right that he is getting much more jail time than Leonard Little. Let me explain.
After a drunken birthday in 1998, Little crashed into and killed another motorist, Susan Gutweiler. When tested, his blood alcohol level measured 0.19 percent, a level considered intoxicated in the state of North Carolina. Little received 90 days in jail, four years probation and 1000 hours of community service. He was back into the NFL and playing in less than a year.

Six years later, Little was again arrested for drunk driving and speeding. Little was acquitted of driving while intoxicated, but was convicted of the misdemeanor speeding. charge. He is still currently playing for the St. Louis Rams. Does this sounds fair? I know Paul Tagliabue was the commisioner at that time but this doesn't add up to me.

I guess killing dogs is more of a crime than killing a human being.

Not in the wrong at all. In fact we should all go around killing dogs. I mean seriously have you heard of what he did? I mean he ADMITTED to killing some of the dogs, this isn't like just trying to decide if he did or not. Just like he admitted he was running a gambling ring on it. I'm sure some people don't think he was wrong, and I'm not saying you are one of them, but those people need help.

Of course. He should be banned from football for life after he has served his time in prison. He should also get an Idiot Award for having everything that many people dream of and then participating in something as stupid as dog fighting. No brains and a cruel heart.

i think this is a really controversial issue and there's alot to be said. I believe that he should be punished for his actions but again it think that any human that does wrong to any other animal should be punished in the same way. When people go hunting for deers and quails they're shooting at animals, killing them, but no jail for them. I just think any harm done to any animal is really cruel and sick.

Wrong is such an understatement. Cruelty to dogs, or any domesticated animal, is just plain vile! To do so for money makes him a sub-human in my book!

He admitted to being in the wrong and checked himself into jail voluntarily. That's what I think.

Your kidding right?.....He raised dogs to kill each other...

If that isn't bad enough...Then if they didn't perform to his standards, he BRUTALLY beat them to death....

Never heard humanely putting an animal down, they have a shot for that....Sick F*** had to get off on hanging and beating them....

He is EXACTLY where he and anybody like him belongs.....
