Yes but it is most appropriate to do the spell such that the right person will find you and will love you.
If you have already picked someone out, I would try the attraction spell as it will allow love to form if and only if it is natural love rather than induced love.
Induced love might fulfill the lusts, but is so often useless in the end. wouldn't you want to enter into a loving relationship knowing that the love was real?

Why can't you do it yourself? Anyone out there who would do a love spell is not likely much more gifted than yourself. Take some books out on spellcraft and maybe you can learn to do it yourself. Besides, there would be a better outcome given that it would be your will behind the spell.
If you do perform a love spell, make sure that you're not trying to encroach on someone else's free will. IMHO it's one thing to do a spell asking for love to be brought into your life and something else to try to control someone.

honestly if you need to put a love spell on someone for them to love you..are you ever really going to be happy knowing the person is only with you cause of the spell.....
the old saying is true you know
"you cannt buy love"
and they dont work anyway... but wouldnt you rather be with some one who will love you without any magic....
the only thing that will work are your own thoughts thinking this person is under a love spell and they dont really love me.... and that will be enough to haunt you..Your own thoughts cause no spell will work.......

Dude, a love spell isn't going to work. Even if it could work it really isn't ethical to charm somebody into falling in love with you. Do it the old fashioned way or not at all.

Spells only work if the person on whom it is cast is aware it has been cast. You're probably better off writing this person a note or else just talking to her/him.

I think you are supposed to do love spells on a midsummer night.

You have to do them yourself.
Be careful what you wish for though.... and remember the 3-fold law.
