99.8 isnt a fever.
If you breast feed your baby will be fine, if you bottle feed, baby will already have been in contact with whatever germs you were that got you sick.
Both of you just take it easy. You'll be fine.

If you are breast feeding then it is not harmful to the baby because he/she is getting the antibodies to fight off infection from you through the breastmilk. Even if you are not breastfeeding chances are good that he/she won't get sick simply because of a baby's body is full of antibodies plus 99.8 is not a really high fever...technically they don't really consider it a fever until you are over 100. But just monitor the situation closely and you and the baby will be ok!!

Are you breastfeeding? Your breastmilk will actually give your baby immunities to whatever you have and help prevent baby getting it.
98.6 is normal, so 99.8 isn't even much of a fever.

Poor you!
If it helps I was really ill a couple of weeks ago - shivering, aching, nauseous, raging fever, passed out 3 times when I tried to stand up, so weak I couldn't even sit up, couldn't eat, couldn't drink, just lay there in bed (Dr wanted me to go into hospital but I didn't want to leave my baby).
My baby was fine. He was even breastfeeding from me (my partner would pop him on my boob and take him off when he'd finished - I was asleep or just lying there too weak to care. He didn't catch anything nasty from me. It turned out to be some sort of kidney infection as it cleared up with antibiotics but it was very very nasty.

Wow God bless you.
See if you could get someone to watch the baby for a day and take care of yourself with good food and medicine.
