I'm doing test corrections for ss and I missed one question and I'm not totally sure what the answer is:
Which statement best reflects the theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels?
A.Workers will expierence an improved standard of living as capitalism improves.
B.Workers can expect that working conditions will improve as a result of government legislation.
C.Workers will change working conditions by revolutionary means.
D.Owners of business will eventually realize conditions for workers must be improved.

I guessed B and it was wrong so its not that, and I don't think its A since communism is the exact opposite of capitalism so its either C or D. Thanxx

C. It is made evident at the very beginning of the manifesto:
"Workers of the Word unite! All you have to lose is your chains!".
BTW, when you get finished with the Communist Manifesto, you might want to read an encyclical written by Pope Leon XIII in the late 1890s. It's called "Rerum Novarum" and it is a balanced approach between laissez faire capitalism and communism. Of course, since it was written by a religious person, it's considered unworthy of study at our universities and colleges.
