Well breaking news in Tampa:
http://blogs.tampabay.com/breakingnews/2007/11/tampa-bay-light.html
"The Tampa Bay Lightning has terminated a deal to sell the hockey team to business partners Oren Koules, Jeff Sherrin and Doug MacLean.
The team canceled the agreement November 14 when Koules, a Hollywood producer, failed to come up with his $4.16-million share of the purchase price, according to a lawsuit filed Monday.
Lightning officials said negotiations are continuing to try to salvage the sale."
Wow. Looks like Koules (producer of the Saw movies) didn't pay up. Think managment will still look to sell the team.

copas - If only I had a billion dollars. That would be killer to own your favorite hockey team. Could you imagine a 14 year old owner of the Lightning?
Who knows, maybe I can ask for a billion dollars for Christmas....
