Al Queida was planning the attack since the late 90's while Clinton was in office (and, no I'm not blaming Clinton either). Do some people just need to blame everything on Bush?

YUP. there are a lot of angry petty people in this country.

bird craps on their car... it was Bush.

Mom kicked them out of the basement for not having a job, Bush's fault.

Their job at the coffee shop sucks because their boss expects them to work, Bush is to blame.

Funny enough the people who claim Bush was involved with 9/11 also claim he is too dumb to tie his shoes. so apparently he is the dumbest super genius in history.

First off, to ahsoasho... Russia's invasion of Afghanistan took place in 1979 during Jimmy Carter's distinguished presidency, not the Sr. Bush's vice presidency (as he did not become president until 1988 and the Russian-Afghan war ended in 1989). Carter was the first to support the Afghani's, muslims, jihadists, etc. by implementing a trade embargo of Russia and boycott of the 1980 Olympics.

Sudan offered the head of Bin Laden 3 times to our distinguished President Clinton, unfortunately, he was too busy fraternizing with the interns and God knows who else, (well ok, we know it wasn't Hillary), to do anything about BL at that time. Maybe if BL's initials were BJ, Clinton would've taken more notice. Anyway, I digress. Testimony in the Moussaoui trial stated that the plans for 9/11 were 5 years in the making...hmmmm, that would take us back to 1996... yep, again during the term of BJ Clinton. How anyone could say Bush did nothing to stop the attacks, when the only information contained in the memo was that attacks would occur, possibly using planes as missiles "possibly sometime in the next week" is crazy. There was no specific information, the flights could've come from anywhere, on any day, and no specific target was known. People complain now about the security lines at airports, even after 9/11, can you imagine what the complaints would've been like BEFORE 9/11 happened??? People would've been NUTS.

Yes, some people would prefer to live under Castro, Kim, Ahmadejinad and Chavez than accept Bush had nothing to do with 9/11.

Why weren't Air Force planes sent up to intercept the hijacked planes? In the year before 9-11, jet fighters were sent up routinely (at least 67 times) whenever, according to the FAA's own standard operating procedure manuals, an airliner went off course by two miles or by 15 degrees. The mainstream media has never highlighted this. Routine FAA and military procedures should've intercepted the first plane before it struck the World Trade Center. Remember, this is interception, not shooting down. Interception happens all the time, like a cop pulling over a speeding motorist on the highway. On 9-11, the FAA was notified by a frantic stewardess that the plane was hijacked fully 25 minutes before it crashed. Usually it only takes 10-12 minutes for jet fighters to go from stationary to 29,000 feet and 1850 mph. Jets should have intercepted that first plane. But for the second plane, which crashed 15 minutes later and which was known to be hijacked 20 minutes before it crashed, the failure to intercept strains credulity. Fighter jets should already have been in the air above Manhattan. And then the plane that supposedly struck the Pentagon was known to be hijacked a full 45 minutes before it crashed — after two other planes had already been hijacked — yet it flew unchallenged over the most protected airspace in the world. That this last plane was not intercepted is simply incredible. The Pentagon has the most advanced radar and air defense in the world, and Andrews Air Force base, which is charged with defending the Pentagon and always has fighter jets on ready alert, lies a mere 11 miles away (1 minute flying time).

some people do feel it's Bush's fault. I don't. I really believe it's Al Quedia and no one else, except for Bin Ladden who really is behind this and would like nothing better then to see all Americains dead. He so much hates us and can't wait for him to be captured-dead or alive, live Saddam Hessian

Here's an ultra simple explanation: Because it was Bush Sr. that started the 1st Gulf war, then when the son got in to continue it, that was the last straw. They hate the Bush's.

Yes. Perhaps you should blame Clinton.

Sandy Berger stole & destroyed classified documents to protect Clinton from the 9/11 Commission Investigation.

This may have saved Clinton from prison.

Because people need a complex, God-like menace out there, and refuse to believe that they can be snuffed out by lunatics using very basic equipment, and that our vaunted US defenses can in fact be penetrated by smart people who plan things well.

Conspiracies are a consequence of our feelings of vulnerability. We need to think that only massive forces and systems of evil can get to us.

Surely, no stinking Arabs in a tent can hurt us-----

oh, yeah?

Think again.

This is the same blind vision that brought us Pearl Harbor---again this event was subject of a conspiracy.....no Japanese could ever have planned this without the cooperation of a US President!!!

Makes you want to cry, some people are so stupid to believe this nonsense.

All evidence points towards a conspiracy

for example, where did Bush first hear about 9/11?

or what happened to flight 93?
