Yeah she just confirmed that she is in for the show. It hasn't even started filming so it will be a while before we know the plot or it is available in theatres.

Yes, Vanessa Hudgens will be in HSM3.
I watched an interview with her and she said that it would probably be about Prom, Graduation and everything else that happens Senior year.

Yes she is. I checked on Wikipedia. It won't be in theatres. It has a "Haunted High School Musical" theme to it. Production starts in a few months.
