Bombing out in the classes I never did my homework for. I don't laugh, I look back in regret of a lost opportunity.

Funny you should ask LOL. Do you know I really didn't have
any worries per se in highschool. I chose my subjects and
didn't really regret my subject choices. Tho I was lousy in sewing in Home Ec. But apparently I had a deep seeded fear of being unable to get my lock open on my locker and be late for a class. For some reason, I've had a repetitive dream, where I am late or going to be late because I can't even find my locker. Much less getting the right lock combination to work. One dream I had, I was re doing my senior year on my own. I'd graduated, but I had to come back and run the gambit again. And see if I could get my locker open and down the halls in time. Talk about crazy huh? I think it may have to do with a prank a junior played on me, a new freshman. She was a girl I had played with as a small child. I
asked her where the room was I had to go to next, when I
saw her in the hall. And it turned out, she sent me in the
opposite direction! I barely made it to the classroom before the bell rang. I never understood how she could be so mean. I
guess she had alot of laughs over that. Strangely enough,
I never saw her in school again after that. I did see her in
a restaurant when I was married years later tho. And she
still remembered who I was, and my grandmother too. She
was with her grandmother, or I may have asked her why she
pulled that joke on me. I never did find it funny. And apparent-
ly it still must bother me today, because I still feel betrayed. And she's still two years older LOL.

Didn't worry.

I used to cut school too much. Thought I was so clever...in the front door - out the back. I hated it.

My mother did everything she could to keep me in school but when I made the announcement that I wasn't going any more (I was 15) my mother slapped me into a Convent school 300 miles from home....where I boarded until I graduated.

Those nuns sure straightened me out...caught up with my grade and managed to graduate with a 1- (A-) average and was salutatorian.

I thanked my mom many times for having the courage to do that.

Debi - I never worried in high school - I was one of the lucky ones - never had to study to make straight A'. A gift I am sure! But it was a very different story in college! I HAD to cram for all sessions and exams. Really really tough! Yes I suppose I did worry over the latter! CJ

Yeah, I laugh at a lot of the things that I thought were so important then, that really don't matter in the scheme of life.
I worried when the guy I liked didn't like me, whoever he was that week. lol

All the bullies that was always trying to pick fights with my friends and I. My friends and I do look back to then and talk about it, but we don't laugh about it. It was not and still is not fun being picked on by a bully.

I was always scared Mom & Dad would find out I was sneaking and wearing lipstick to school. My dad was a minister and that would not have gone over well at all. My sis and me always had chapped lips from scrubbing them with a washcloth and soap. Years later I read where lipstick could be removed by toothpaste. Too little too late. Also, I was so insecure I was always afraid one or some of the kids would look at me. It took me years to get over that. My parents had convinced me that I was dumb, ugly etc.

I was worried about bringing back my report card, and then ended up becoming teacher. Now I know how my old students felt.

Today, you worry about the students killing each other at school.
