it has happened before, too
usually i press weird buttons and it comes back on, and i tried plugging it into the computer and that didnt work either!

its still not working!
and its showing up that its plugged in my computer

Strange. I know a girl named Emily Taylor, and she looks like you! Hahaha but we're in Florida so ..... don't think that could happen. =P
Okay, well, since those didn't work, the only thing to do (that I can think of) would be to just let it die, then charge it. Mine freezes sometimes too, and that's the only way I can get it to work ...
kind of annoying, too, because I wanna listen to the msic THEN! not hafta wait for it to die, then recharge it!

I'm not sure if this will help, but try these, in this order:
1. Reset the iPod by holding down the Menu + Select (center button) for 6-10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
2. With the ipod connected to the computer (iTunes), reset using the steps above.
3. Quit then restart iTunes with the iPod connected.
4. Restart the computer with the iPod connected, and launch iTunes at startup (if it doesn't start by itself). Make sure the iPod isn't locked (hold isn't on) when its connected. Hope it helps...

Ok put the charger in it my friend brings hers to pe and it gets frozen when she scrolls alot
