My girlfriend cannot go on the Pill due to health reasons and we absolutley hate condoms(I know blah blah blah) but I am here for advice...

I have been using coitus interruptus and I seem to have trained my self well, I always clean and urinate before sexual intercourse as a rule. I keep hearing that sperm can be in the pre-***, is this true? Like I said I always urinate before sexual intercourse to clear any left over from a prevouis ejaculation.. Once I have ejaculated after coitus interruptus I will not have sex until the next day after a good bath etc.

Can somebody give me there own experiences on why this method fails and if it has been successful?

Urination or no there is still going to be pre-ejaculate comming out of the tip of your penis and that does contain sperm. The amount of sperm is far less than what is in the ejaculate itself but it is still present and where there is sperm there is a chance for pregnancy.

That being said my husband and I used that method for three or more years without getting pregnant. When we finally DID get pregnant it was the one time we....got overzealous and failed to pull out. But we were in the position where an "unplanned" pregnancy wouldn't be the end of the world.

If you want extra protection WITHOUT a condom you could look into getting something called Encare. It is an insert the woman puts into her vagina about ten to fifteen minutes PRIOR to sex. *granted that takes some of the whimsy and spontaneity out of sex, but it is far less of a mood killer than a screaming baby :P*. This insert is a spermicide that will help to aid in avoiding pregnancy.

If you were to use that ALONG WITH PULLING OUT...you should have reduced your chances of getting pregnant to NEXT to nothing. Notice I said NEXT. As I said there is always a chance of pregnancy when sperm are presented into the women's body.

There are also other spermicides on the market. As well as the diaphragm.the pill, IUD's, shots etc, though these would require your girlfriend seeing her doctor.

Good Luck, and good thinking ahead OBVIOUSLY a condom would be GREAT back up. But there are other options of back up out there, though many of them don't protect against STD's.

My husband's sister and brother-in-law were much the same as you. She is a smoker so the doctor wouldn't put her on birth control pills. He was allergic to most condoms and didn't want to put out the expense for the non-allergy ones. They have 4 kids, all born using coitus interruptus, also known as the "pull-out" method. He now has a vasectomy. Pre-ejaculate can contain some sperm plus, even with best of intentions, it isn't unheard of to get caught up in the moment and simply fail to get out in time. I suggest your girlfriend speak frankly with her doctor and get suggestions as to other birth control methods. There are many available. Statistically, the pull-out method is not much more reliable than using no birth control at all.

It fails because sperm ARE in precum.
I had sex ONCE in a month using the pullout method and that was how I got pregnant.

Dude get your girlfriend a IUD. A paragaurd copper one if she has problems with the hormones. You are going to end up having a baby. This method is not fool proof its only for fools.

It fails because the answer to your question is yes, precum contains sperm.
