Tell him that the sooner he puts up the tree, the more presents for him he'll see. Begging might help too. Also, tell him you'll put it up yourself if he won't, and that may not be healthy for the living room. You want to convince him, not bribe him. He will also gain some Christmas spirit. Anyway, why doesn't he want to put up the tree?

Put on some holiday music to get him in the mood and tell him that while he's putting up the tree, you'll be cooking him dinner/pie/cookies/whatever he likes. Also, offer to secretly find out what your mom wants for Christmas because he's probably still wondering what to get her. Good luck!

offer to take out the trash for two weeks, or some other chore that he doesn't like to do. Or write a cute poem. My daughter did that when she was 10 and wanted a puppy. Both she and I pleaded for months, but only after she wrote a very sweet poem did he finally give in.

tell him you got a present for him but you don't have a tree to put it under, if he says to just give it to him, just put a frown and say whatever with a low disappointed tone of voice and walk away.
you'll leave him thinking. when he brings it up later no longer than 3 days then you tell him that you miss xmas spirit in ur house and how much that means to you and how that shows he doesnt care, bcuz if he did he put a tree up :)

It is really tacky to put up your Christmas tree anytime before the 23rd of December.
Ok, that may be way too late, I'd try asking very nicely and offering to help. Pies, egg nog and a backrub may help. Good luck!

Tell him you'll clean the house, wash his vehicle, and put the tree up yourself then cook dinner the rest of the week and skip your allowance the rest of the month.

Tell him that you'll help him and everything. Im sure hed appreciate it. If that doesn't work, tell him to loosen up and get into the holiday spirit. Maybe making him feel like hes missing out will help. haha, good luck!
