Well, it's true that people already know who they are. But sometimes, people just don't think about it. Like McD's isn't always on your mind, is it?

The purpose of ads are to:
1) Tell the people about new products, discounts, set meals... It appeals to people who like discounts.
2) To remind people, to catch their eye. Yo'd take a look at their ads and suddenly want to eat it. You'd get the urge.

To inform customers about new items, discounts, slogans, or specials. So that the buyer remembers their catchy ad and say "Hey Let's go to BurgerKing. They've got that new Bacon sandwhich!" Just an example.

It means that they are a really good business and they pay alot of money for those commercials. Who knows...maybe someone from a foreign country might not now about Wendy'd or other fast food restaurants. Commercials can help a lot too.

Because they want you to eat there. They don't care if it annoys you, as long as when you get hungry you some how remeber there name. Thay just don't care, advertising is one of the best ways to get people eating there

They want you to know about new items, new discounts, new slogans, new characters & such. To remind you when you're out and in a hurry, go to THEIR place instead of the competition.
