So the Eagles showed the NFL how to beat the Patriots, by rushing Brady, double teaming Moss on defense and by going to short passes down the middle on offense? Just a couple of observations:
1. Um, duh, it didn't work.
2. When you double team Randy Moss, Welker, Stallworth or Watson or a back out of the backfield is open. That is why Welker had so many receptions last night. The Patriots adjusted by sending Moss on jaunts every down. That plan ultimately didn't work for Philly. It is just a "choose your poison" strategy.
3. The Patriots did not get to where they are by being static. Whatever might have worked last night will not work next Monday in Baltimore.
4. The Eagles played a helluva game and got it closer longer than anyone else in the league has done.
5. Did you see the reactions to the win by Assante Samuel and Wes Welker after the game? They were absolutely contrite, like they had lost by 20.
6. Matt Light and Steven Gostkowski will not be making the same mistakes next week.
7. The onside kick ploy is done for this season.

You know, before the Eagle's game last night, I believed that the Patriots were unstoppable. I believed that they would go undefeated.
I really doubt it now. The way they played against the Eagles, I mean, come on. The Eagles were playing off a back-up, they were in the Patriots stadium, and the Patriots were supposed to be the greatest team of all time as a lot of people said. The Eagles had also won only 5 games and have been last place in their division for the whole season.
All the talk of New England going undefeated, that's a funny joke now. Nearly all of New England's weak points were exposed. If you shut down Moss, the Patriots offense is 60% less effective. And if your team plays aggressive, New England is going to struggle.
The Patriots will have their hands full against Pittsburgh, and lots of other teams. These teams will know what points to target and how aggressively to play football. I hope you Pats fans have had your fun. Don't be surprised when your team starts losing games.

At first I thought the Pittsburgh Steelers would beat the Patriots and it would be a challenging game for Brady. But seeing them lose to the Jets last week, all doubt is erased from my mind, I am 98% confident that the Patriots are taking home the victory 2 weeks from now. And if the Steelers lose to the Dolphins, handing the Fins their first win of the season after going 0-10, oh boy will I be 100.0% sure that Ben Roethlisberger and the Steel Curtain don't stand a chance to the higher force.

This happens each year. The top team will be dinged by another team, revealing a few weaknesses. For the Pats that was the Colts game, where they had to show more than they normally would.
The Eagles had enough talent in the right places, along with the colts game films. Belichick will mix it up.
I don't see anyone else coming close.

they will not beat Pittsburgh. The steel curtain is WAY better than Phillys defense, so Brady will have no chance overcoming them.
since its inevitable that they play in the postseason, a Super Bowl is out of the question as well.
The fact that they lost to Arizona and New York makes no difference. Arizona is not a bad team, and the Jets...well, lets just say they are a step above bad. Everyone has bad days

if a 5-6 team could keep up with them, I think a 7-3 team can as well.If the steelers can keep brady from crossing the line of scrimmage and moss locked up, they could win. I think last night game showed that the Patriots rely on Moss too much and when he is covered, they aren't putting up 40+ pts like they have done this season.
They also must keep possession of the ball as long as they can keeping it on the ground. So a running game will come in handy for the steelers.
but to answer your question, they will not win the SB.

It depends. The Ravens might figure them out. And if they try that running-up-the-score crap against Baltimore or Pittsburgh, they will learn that not every head coach is the gentleman that Joe Gibbs is: The Steelers will take the penalty, take the ejection, and even the fines, but they will take Brady out if Cheating Bill tries to embarrass them.
As for the Ravens, does Brady really want a ticked off Ray Lewis gunning for him?

listen bud...the Eagles showed the NFL how to beat the Patriots, I doubt they go 16-0 now, they are a 1 dimensional team that can be beat with pressure on the QB, and hits on the recievers
remember the Eagles were 5-5 and went into New England and almost came out with the win, coming on yahoo answers claiming 16-0 and a super bowl win is just about the dumbest thing you could do

I think last nights game is going to produce an even stronger Patriots team...They have been disciplined and playing at 100%,last night they didn't...That only motivates a team like NE....
And YOU listen bud, if you think the same holes are going to be there when they meet the Steelers...Think again....
